Water Filters - Resources

This site about Water Filters is relatively new so has not yet begun to build water filter resources.  As we develop relationships with other sites that have some association with water filters we will add links to them here.  Water filters are tricky to properly implement due to the problem of static water in the filter.  Static water tends to harbor bacteria and other unhealthy pollutants.  This can be avoided by the user simply by running the water until the water filter is flushed except with systems that use holding tanks.  Generally these water filters should be avoided.

Water is an essential part of our daily life. It's a natural resource that must be consumed each day for the health of the body. Since water is such an important part of life, it is also a good idea to use water filters to keep this natural resource fresh, clean and healthy for consumption. There are many types of water filters that are effective at removing common toxins and chemicals that can be present in tap water. Residents who are concerned with their health and the health of their families are finding that even bottled water isn't up to par with the water that comes from water filters. The efficiency and technology of water filters are what set them apart from other filtration systems.

Water filters are a convenient way for families to have 24/7 access to clean and refreshing tap water. Chlorine and other chemicals are often used in water treatment plants to help kill bacteria and germs that are present in the water. These chemicals, however, can give water an unattractive smell and unappealing taste. Water filters are able to remove these chemicals used in the treatment of water and to release water straight from the tap that is fresh tasting and clean smelling. This water is more valuable for consumers to drink or use in household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.

Although all tap water is run through water treatment before reaching the home, it is often still left with bacterial contaminants and toxins. These contaminants are hazardous to the health of those who consume them and can sometimes cause health ailments such as abdominal cramps or gastrointestinal problems. Water filters are designed specifically to eliminate these types of contaminants from the water before it even runs to the tap.

Reverse osmosis water filters are one of the most efficient types of water filters available on the market today. The process used in reverse osmosis helps to remove even the smallest of bacterial contaminants from the water before it is released. The water in these water filters is run through a membrane to remove the toxins from the water. Water filters with reverse osmosis systems also tend to be low maintenance, easy to use and small and convenient. Charcoal water filters are also proven to be effective in the removal of many water toxins and chemicals. The charcoal media specializes in the removal of unpleasant smells or tastes and the water is left clean and refreshing.

Many families are finding the convenience and quality of the water released from water filters far surpasses bottled water. Consumers have also found the convenience of having access to clean water from the tap for cooking, cleaning and consumption to be more economical and handy than bottled water. Water filters are more environmentally conscious than bottled water because they don't require the waste of numerous plastic bottles.

Water filters are able to make clean and pure tap water easily accessible to every home. The quality of the water has made the use of these water filters a necessity for many homeowners.
